Booking
We have modified our booking options and adjusted our availability to continue to accommodate as many clients, projects and sessions as possible as well as to make the booking process go more smoothly. Standard studio hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm. If sessions longer than 8 hours are required by the client special arrangements may be made depending on our schedule. Check out our calendar for specific availability.

Morning Block = 10:00am to 2:00pm
Afternoon Block = 2:00pm to 6:00pm
All Day = 10:00am - 6:00pm
~ Remote Service Scheduling Options ~
Essentially anytime. Some scheduling options are listed on our calendar however specific plans must be made as needed through communication between TBR and the client.
Sessions may be requested by phone or email, however voicemail and email messages DO NOT automatically mean that a session will be booked, or even put on hold. After receiving a message TBR will respond to let the client know whether the session date and time they have requested is available or not. If the date and time is available the session will be put on hold. A session is not considered to be booked until after the deposit is received in cash or until the check or money order clears our bank.
Billing begins at the scheduled session start time, not when the client arrives. If the client arrives late the clock is not reset. If the client does not arrive by 15 minutes after the scheduled session start time, the client will receive a courtesy call. If the client does not arrive, answer or call back by 30 minutes after the scheduled session start time the session is considered to be cancelled and all deposits are forfeited.
It is important for the client to know what they want to accomplish in their session, however it is recommended that they consult with TBR to get an accurate estimate of how long a given task or set of tasks will take to complete. The vast majority of instances where clients have become frustrated and disappointed with their session are a result of the client underestimating the time and money required to complete the work to be done. It is a good idea to book more time than you think you need. If you don't need it, it won't cost you anything. If you do need it, you will have the time and money set aside.
Your session does not have to start at the begining of the block, but it is highly recommended so as to maximize your available time. If your session starts some time other than the beginning of the block the end of the block DOES NOT get extended to give you four hours.
If you think you may need more than 4 hours, or you need to start in the middle of a block, then you will need to book multiple consecutive blocks to ensure that you have the time that you need. If you do not book the extra time someone else may book it and you may have to stop working at the end of the block no matter what you are doing. If your scheduled time runs out, there are no other clients booked and you would like to continue to work, all additional time will be billed at the full hourly rate and payment in full will be due at the end of the session.
TBR reserves the right to book different clients into consecutive sessions. It is the responsibility of the client to book the nessesary time for their sessions. It is not the responsibility of TBR to adjust the studio schedule if the client runs out of time to complete the work the client has planned for their session.
Deposits A non-refundable deposit of $60 PER BLOCK will be required to book sessions by the hour. A non-refundable deposit of $100 will be required to book all day sessions. Refunds will be given ONLY under extremely exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of TBR. If a session is rescheduled 48 hours or more in advance the deposit will be credited toward the new session. Clients with repeated no-shows and/or short-notice cancellations risk having future sessions cancelled and/or being refused additional bookings.
In other words, no deposit, no booking. No booking, no session. If the client pays a deposit and the client cancels their session less than 48 hours prior to the session or if the client doesn't show up at all the client DOES NOT GET THE DEPOSIT BACK.
Deposits can be paid in advance in person, dropped in the studio mailbox or mailed to the studio. Deposits will be deducted from the bill corresponding to the session the deposit secured at the time of payment.
Rates

$30 per hour
• Available for all services performed at TBR Studios, whether attended or unattended by the client

~ Remote Services ~ $45 per hour • Off site work requiring no equipment to be transported • Basic stereo demo recording • Consulting • Loading, unloading & travel time charged at the full hourly rate
$60 per hour • High quality stereo recording • Multitrack recording • Live engineering with or without recording • Loading, unloading & travel time charged at the full hourly rate
Payment There is a minimum charge of 1 hour for all work performed. Many clients have asked, “Are you going to charge me for an hour just to burn a CD?” In many cases, yes, it will be at least an hour. This is required because the time it takes to go to the studio, power up the system, restore the data from it’s backups, burn the CD, if it is a master perform quality control and reverse the process will easily take an hour. So unless you are currently working with TBR on your project expect to pay at least $30 for a replacement copy or copies of your master, reference mixes or data.
For Hourly sessions, payment in full is due AT THE END of each session. For All Day sessions payment in full is due AT THE BEGINNING of each session. No materials will be released until the outstanding bill is paid in full. The client will receive an invoice for their records at the end of all studio sessions, if they so choose. For remote sessions either a paper invoice can be mailed or an electronic invoice can be emailed as a PDF file. Deposits and payments can be in cash, check or money order.
